A 10-foot tsunami reportedly hit the capital city of Pago Pago in the American Samoa on September 29, 2009, following an 8.3-magnitude earthquake.A tsunami warning was issued for the entire area after the earthquake, reaching as far as New Zealand and Hawaii.
