Famed football player and Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker signed a multi-year contract on September 21, 2009, with the mixed martial arts organization Strikeforce to compete in their heavyweight division.It was not immediately announced when Walker would compete, but the report stated that he would begin a 12-week training session in California in October 2009.
