With the Opening Weekend Bash just days away, the Toledo Walleye will open their training camp this Friday, October 2, 2009. The camp will host 40 players, 20 of which are signed to the team and 20 more who are looking to fill one of the last roster spots.
The Walleye will split camp time between the brand new Lucas County Arena and the Toledo Icehouse on West Alexis Road. In addition to on-ice practices and scrimmages, the team will play in four pre-season games and meet the fans for the first time at the Walleye Open House on Sunday, October 4.
