Ashley "AJ" Jewell was a co-owner of a gentleman's club and former fiance of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality television star Kandi Burruss. He appeared alongside Burruss on the show.Jewell was killed on October 2, 2009, outside his club, Body Tap, in Georgia. He died from head injuries received in a brawl. Fredrick Richardson has been arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter in connection with the killing.
