Toledo Walleye continue to lead the ECHL in attendance

|

Attendance numbers across the ECHL were released this week and the Toledo Walleye lead the league for the second week in a row, averaging 6,412 people at each home game.

While the Lucas County Arena is quite a bit bigger than some of the ponds in the league, fans are hooked. Toledo has seen a 63% increase in fans compared to the 2006-2007 season, the last season the Toledo Storm played at the old Toledo Sports Arena.

Overall in the league, teams are averaging 4,452 people at each game, up by 1.4% from the first two weeks of last season. The Stockton Thunder rank second to the Walleye, averaging 6,007 per game while the Florida Everblades came in third with 5,969 per game.
