Power play performance lifts the Cincinnati Cyclones over the Toledo Walleye

|

Traveling to battle their North Division rivals, the Toledo Walleye fell 5-2 to the Cincinnati Cyclones at the U.S. Bank Arena tonight.  Toledo battled hard, but Cincinnati's power play led them to the victory, much to the joy of nearly 11,000 fans in attendance.

The Cyclones opened the scoring just over seven minutes in, as Barret Ehgoetz took a nice pass from Jimmy Kilpatrick to deflect the puck just past Walleye goaltender Jordan Pearce.

Just about two minutes later Mark O'Leary of the Cyclones got to Walleye defenseman Brock Wilson after jabbing at Jordan Pearce.  The two dropped the gloves to trade a few punches before heading to the box for their fighting majors.
