Most businesses are traditionally closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, however, a few local restaurants and chains such as Denny's and IHOP are usually open. During the 2009 Christmas, more restaurants than usual are keeping their doors open due to a need to make up for slower sales during the past year.
